We All Stand Together
On behalf of the Anishinaabe Nation in Treaty#3 we acknowledge and honour the sacrifices and bravery of our veterans in the protection of life and our collective freedoms in past World Wars and global conflicts. We also acknowledge the ongoing contribution and participation of our citizens currently serving in the military.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the families and communities who have lost loved ones in these wars and international conflicts. Today’s freedoms have come with enormous sacrifices by our veterans and we take the responsibility to live with respect, tolerance and understanding of others because of their efforts to secure that freedom.
On behalf of the Anishinaabe Nation, we collectively say, “Meegwetch to our veterans, their families and their communities. We remember and will never forget”.
Gary Allen, Executive Director
