Position Title:  Receptionist

Location: Grand Council Treaty #3 office Kenora, ON

Closing Date: Open until position is filled

Grand Council Treaty #3 offers an exceptional opportunity for a results-oriented individual with excellent organizational and time management skills. The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the GCT#3 staff to ensure that the services are provided in an effective manner.  The individual will co-ordinate reservations and travel arrangements; organize meetings; greet visitors to the GCT#3 office; plan, organize and co-ordinate functions and special events for as required; prepare and/or edit letters, faxes, memos and mass emails.

 

Qualifications:

Completion of an office administration certificate or diploma. Two years previous experience as a Secretary / Administrative Assistant. Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS outlook. Proficient spoken Anishinaabe is considered to be an asset. Punctual, meticulous, organized and reliable with courteous manners to the public. Specialization that has been obtained through an acceptable combination of training, education and or experience may be considered. Ability to communicate in Ojibway is considered an asset.
